  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Custom PHP version settings are not working after upgrade

Hi
After successfully running with Plesk 12.5 upgraded from 12.0.18, for about 2 months, we have recently encountered an issue with the support for multiple PHP versions in our 2 servers.
Due to the missing support for multiple PHP versions out of the box in Plesk 12.0.x, we used the PHP Panda approach to fix this: http://talk.plesk.com/threads/php-panda-multi-php-installer-for-plesk.293750/
This has been working fine with no issues until recently, where a user complained about not being able to upload a 3MB PDF-file to their website.
I have looked at the PHP settings for the installed Atomic PHP 5.5.28 and many of the settings were blank in the UI. Setting these to match a screenshot from 12.0.18 does not fix the issue and re-entering the setup screen for the service plan we still see blank fields.

We then tried to install the Plesk version of PHP 5.5 and applied the settings from our 12.0.18 screenshot and these settings work.
While this solves the issue for this specific customer, the main reason for still using the Atomic PHP versions is that the Plesk version does not have support for Microsoft SQL Server. Since we run some PHP-based(Drupal) webshops and websites that integrate to various services running on Microsoft SQL Server, this is essential for to get everything working.

Does anyone have a solution for either getting Microsoft SQL Server support in the Plesk version of how to get the Atomic PHP 5.5.x working with Plesk 12.5?

We are currently running Plesk 12.5.30 Update #14 on CentOS 6.7 64-bit
