• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Hello,

I get every day from my Plesk server two e-mails from the Daily Log Rotation sent and I do not know how I can disable it. Can you help me with this?

My system:
OS: Debian 7.8
Plesk version: 12.0.18 Update # 43

Mail 1)

Subject: test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || ( cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.daily )
Content:
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error: error creating output file /var/log/syslog.1.gz: File exists
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1

Mail 2)

Subject: test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || ( cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.daily )
Content:
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
gzip: stdin: file size changed while zipping
Reopen NGINX log files: ...done.

Hi Igor,

thanks for the link, but it isn't a real solution for the emails. Okay, they will be send to "nothing", but what is the reason for generating this emails in the last weeks und months before not?
