• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Deleted Extensions Automatically Reinstalling Themselves

c0m

Basic Pleskian
The below 3 extensions which come with Plesk are automatically re-installing themselves after a Plesk update even though they were removed.

WordPress Toolkit
Imunify360
DNSSec

We don't need/aren't currently using the features of these extensions, so how can we permanently stop getting them?

CloudLinux 7.6
Plesk Onyx Version 17.8.11 Update #59

Starting from Extensions Catalog 1.8.0, if extension's license is linked to the Plesk license, it will be automatically installed in Plesk.

To disable this behavior, do the following:
  1. Log into Plesk
  2. Install Panel.ini Editor extension in Extensions
  3. Add the following block to the end of the Extensions > My Extensions > Panel.ini Editor > Editor field and press Save:

    [ext-catalog]
    extensionAutoInstall = false
