• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Did Bind realy works in plesk 9.2 ? if so the why DomainKey is not visible !!!

Hi to you all,

I am writing you this thread because I have some doubts regarding the visibility of bind throuth the web.

I will explain you my configuration:

1. I have an account to hosteurope.de and there I set my reverse DNS, but I also have A PTR record in DNS zone of my domain.

Which one works in this case ?

2. I have a second account where I manage my domains. Hmmm... In here:( I have set the A record and also the MX record but also the SPF record.

All these records are set also in Bind, but I wonder myself if they are really working (the ones from BIND from Plesk)

3. I just tried to activate DomainKey with this new configuration (Plesk 9.2, SUSE 10.3 + 30 domains, php, apache, etc.Qmail (this one is set), PostFix,) but the two records that are listed with the DNS zone of domain is not list in the following websites

http://domainkeys.sourceforge.net/policycheck.html
http://domainkeys.sourceforge.net/selectorcheck.html

which were made especially for that

In the DNS zone for one domain, I have 14 records and through this ones I have two that are not visible and not only in this two websites that I already mentioned but also in all the accounts of yahoo.com where I have one message that say that my DomainKey is not signet.

The SPF works fine, but If I delete it from my account that works with the domains, the SPF is really not working at all, even if is set in DNS zone.

Do you have a solution ? do you know what I am doing wrong ?

And if you think that everything works fine with the DNS, the can you tell me why the DomainKey does not work with by example yahoo?

I know that DomainKeys is not the DKIM, and the DKIM is not supported with plesk 9.2 but however, I want to make it work !!!

I think that this web site is not anymore available for the DomainKeys with this version of Plesk: http://jeremy.kister.net/howto/dk.html

or : http://domainkeys.sourceforge.net/

Acctualy I have three servers : One with Plesk 9.0 one with Plesm 9.2 and one with Plesk 8.6 but I am not able to make work the DomainKeys with them.

Do you have a working tutorial or something that can lead my to the correct path to put in place this DomainKeys on every server I have ?

Best regards,

PS1:

This are the e-mails that I send to one yahoo e-mail account :
