• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Disconnect between postfix (replaced qmail) and spamassassin

HostaHost

Regular Pleskian
We have a server where the autoinstaller was used to replace qmail with postfix. Since that time, Spam Assassin is running, according to the logs, but the flags on whether something is spam or not are never making it back to postfix or whatever piece is supposed to act on that information. For example, blacklisted addresses trigger filtering which gets logged, but the email goes right to the inbox and there are no SpamAssassin headers added to it, as if SA had never run:

Sep 16 18:23:39 hosting1 spamd[2788]: spamd: result: Y 97 - BAYES_00,DKIM_SIGNED,DKIM_VALID,DKIM_VALID_AU,FREEMAIL_FROM,RCVD_IN_DNSWL_LOW,SPF_PASS,USER_IN_BLACKLIST scantime=2.1,size=1818,user=recipient@domain.com,uid=110,required_score=5.0,rhost=localhost,raddr=127.0.0.1,rport=/tmp/spamd_full.sock,mid=<message_id@mail.gmail.com>,bayes=0.000000,autolearn=no

Nothing related to SA gets put into the headers of the email, and the email goes right to the inbox. The account is set to tag.
