Question Disk space problems

Gabe

New Pleskian
Hi everyone. I resort to this forum as a last option since the hosting in which I am, their customer service and their desire to help are 0.

86% of my web space is occupied (I have 3 GB) and overnight in statistics> Use by services> web occupies 2.46 GB

Clarifications: My blog has 120 articles, I have not uploaded a new article for more than 6 months, it has about 800 daily visits. That is, why the web space has been filled up to 2.46 GB when until 1 week ago it occupied 1 GB when I have not added new content to this page for more than half a year?

In addition, I have 3 more websites with the same hosting, same space, one has twice the content and 3 times more visits, the other has 5 times more content and 10 times more visits, and both have the "Web space" occupying less than 2 GB.

What I can do?

Thanks.

You could run the Linux "du" command on the document root directory of your website to get a list of all files and directories and how much space they occupy. This way you can find the culprit. Normally it's backups, e.g. if you have a backup plugin installed.
