  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hello,

im running plesk 7.5 server with windows standart edtion.
im also runnig 'Microsoft DNS Server 5.2.3790.1830' .

the problem is that the sites are not working with my ISP , i check few ISP'S by 'nslookup' and they are ok , but few ISP's its not .

i contact them and i have been told by there DNS TEAM that my dns server isnt standing by RFC rules.

they also told me that the TTL of the SOA is 0 , and it should be more than hour .

here is a picture of screen shot of the configurations :

Thanks in Advance.

You can try set SOA TTL value in Plesk to 1 hour and then check if settings correctly transferred to MS DNS and if it's transferred to other DNS servers. Also you can use "dnsmng.exe update *" from %plesk_bin% to reconfigure DNS server configuration according Plesk DB.
