DNS Changes via Creation Utilities

Is there any way to make changes to the DNS via the Creation Utilities? I would like to create a CNAME record or A record that ultimately directs to a specific IP address, but do not want to have a website created. There will be a website already created that will use the IP address as a dedicated IP address (not shared). In effect, the website will parse the DNS name used to determine what information to show. However, I still want to create a domain in Plesk so the user has email capabilities.

Another way to do this (that would be EXTREMELY helpful) would be to allow DNS Templates at the Reseller level and associate them with Domain Templates. (Future feature, hint, hint, nudge, nudge, wink, wink)

Anyone know how to modify the DNS records via code?
