  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Good morning everyone,

I encountered a problem on all the plesks I manage (about 45), let me explain: doing a reverse search in the plesk DNS, using itself as the query source, the result that comes out are all the domains registered on that panel, showing to the whole world this information, for example:

nslookup {ip of the plesk} {ip of the plesk}

the workaroud I adopted was to insert the following line into reverse resolution zone of the named.conf file

Code:
zone "XX.XX.XX.in-addr.arpa" {
         typemaster;
         file "XX.XX.XX.in-addr.arpa";
         allow-transfer {
                 common-allow-transfer;
         };
         allow-query { none; }; <----- HERE IT IS
};

I was wondering if from the panel I could solve it with some setting that I missed.
