  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Do I need to backup the files in Plesk\PrivateTemp ?

Hi,

I'm using Tivoli Storage Manager to backup all files in our server (to external backup hosting company), and the Plesk Backup tool to do a nightly .psa backup file transmittet via FTP over the LAN.

But it seems the Plesk Backup tool is placing my nightly_backup.psa file in Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\PrivateTemp along with 4-5gb of other data.

I would like to exclude those from the Tivoli backup, but can I do that safely? The temp files / "eaccelerator"-files are not crucial for restoring, should it ever be necessary?

Thanks.
