  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Does plesk use MPM ITK to run different users ?

AdrianC

Basic Pleskian
Hello.
Can someone clarify this or has more info about this ? ...

I was wondering if Plesk uses MPM ITK in order to run each vhost as a different user (user : psacln)

And does it have additional customization in order to properly make mod_pagespeed cache files under /var/cache/mod_pagespeed ?

The reason is because I tried to mimic this on one of my servers (without Plesk) and mod_pagespeed mixes files and folders owned by both apache:apache and the vhost user:group and causes many permission problems.

Does Plesk use something else than MPM ITK to separate vhost users ?
