  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Domain administrators can create mailboxes from other subscriptions

New Pleskian
Hello,

I'm using Plesk v12.0.18 on Ubuntu 14.04 .

Doing tests I ran into an issue when creating users from a domain administrator account.
So, I created an domain administrator account with only access to one of the three subscriptions we currently have. But, when I want to create a user from this account, it possible to set the domain part of the mail address to any domain created on our Plesk server (See attached screen).
I made some research but didn't find anything relevant, is this common behaviour or misconfiguration?

Thanks in advance

In fact, I just found how to deal with it a few minutes ago.

You only need to create customer and assign the wanted subscriptions to this customer (change subscriber).
Seems like the mail addresses you can create are not taken from the domains inside the subscriptions but from all domains with the same subscriber.

Thanks for the answer!
