  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Domain and subdomain disk usage not being calculated correctly

Richard18

Basic Pleskian
Ubuntu 14.04.5
Plesk 12.5.30 #44

We have 2 sites that have subdomains configured on them that host test versions of the parent domain.

They are essentially mirrors of their parent domain so they have the same files and media, however I've noticed that the Disk Usage calculation is always incorrect.

The Disk Usage for the parent domain includes the files in the Subdomain folder.

Is this correct? If it is correct then why even include an incorrect Disk Usage value for the Subdomain?

Untitled-1.png

So you can see each Subdomain is configured with a separate folder for it's Website files and the Disk Usage column has some numbers in it, but they bear no relation to the files in the Subdomains Website folder.

The numbers in the Disk Usage column for the Subdomain includes the files for the Domain and Subdomain.

The total stats are correct the Disk Usage calculations are running each day, but the wrong numbers are in the wrong rows!

For example, on one Domain httpdocs has around 12GB of files and the Subdomain's Website folder has around 10GB of files, close to the total 23GB that's reported, but it should be shown separately.
