Domain creation issue

I have this error message when i try to create a new domain.

Failed domain creation: Unable to update domain data: Failed mail post-configuration: Can't create mail domain servie: mailManager->addDomain() failed: mailmng failed: SOAP failed. Failed in sending message

Hi,

Check if mail component is configured at the Component management page.

If Plesk uses one of the mail servers, check if the domain which you want to create does not exists at the Mail server.
 
1- In my case, the domain was added to plesk but I received the error.
I found that plesk can't send any email after creating a new domain ( In settings, Plesk should send an email after creating new domain)
I changed php.ini in order to let plesk send email and the problem solved.

2- What is your mailserver?
 
Ok...

I reinstalled :

1. Plesk
2. SmarterMail 4.3 (my mail server component)

Everything is working fine with the default DNS templates. The thing is that i have to manually change the DNS settings for the domain after its creation.

So i tried to modify the default DNS templates with my settings (adding some hosts, changing the NS, etc.)

After that, i cant create domains anymore :

There's an exclamation mark beside the SmarterMail component in "Components Management". I didnt change anything in the mail server config.

Ok but it doesnt apply to me since i dont use the SmarterMail Webserver. I use IIS with application pool (better performance).

Its working.

In the SmarterMail IIS site, the port 9998 was only pointing to the public IP adress.

I guess that Plesk use a local adress (127.0.0.1) to access SmarterMail.

BTW, relay also should be allowed from 127.0.0.1 on SmarterMail
