  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Double slash problem?

Do you have a ton of before-queue errors?

I see a lot of postings about these errors but no one has mentioned anything about the double slashes in there? This seems to have been installed by PSA at some point since I sure didn't make the change. I suspect others might be experiencing email problems because of this.

There is an error in the logs showing;

hook_dir = '/var/qmail//handlers/before-queue'

There is also a ton of the following which I suspect are related;

Apr 4 10:26:03 psa qmail: 1207322763.971446 warning: trouble injecting bounce message, will try later
Apr 4 10:26:06 psa qmail-queue-handlers[7038]: Handlers Filter before-queue for qmail started ...
Apr 4 10:26:06 psa qmail-queue-handlers[7038]: possible qmail-smtpd exited by timeout, reset connection or with "See http://pobox.com/~djb/docs/smtplf.html."

Does anyone know where this configuration might have the extra slash? I suspect at the end of qmail.

I'm the ONLY one having this problem??? How is that possible when all I do is update like everyone else?
There seems to be a double slash in Plesk's software, it's stopping much email from getting in and even out as far as I can tell.

In my logs, countless;
>warning: trouble injecting bounce message, will try later

Coutnless
>handlers dir = '/var/qmail//handlers/before-queue/recipient

Would this double slash not be preventing the before-queue operation?

Mike

man qmail-log shows for example:trouble injecting bounce message...
qmail-send was unable to queue a bounce message, usually because the disk is full. It will try again later.

i have the double slash on all my servers in the log, but without any issue or impact...

Interesting, it's acting strangely, it's not accepting email from various domains and other things. It's constantly telling me that various domains have exceeded quota when they have not, things like that.

There is plenty of disk space too.

Thanks for the input.

Mike

did you check the quota, proper ownership/permissions of the related mailboxes/domains?

Thanks for the lead, I've run this a few days ago to see if it would make any difference. I think the spam has gone down a little (if that's possible), the double slash is still there and these are very regular still;

Apr 9 10:11:22 psa qmail: 1207753882.251831 warning: trouble injecting bounce message, will try later
Apr 9 10:11:22 psa qmail-queue-handlers[21937]: Handlers Filter before-queue for qmail started ...

I've read that it talks about a CR/LF problem and I've seen plenty of folks asking about it but have yet to find a solution, if there is one?
