  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Dovecot running but not detected by Plesk Email Security

Obsidian Version 18.0.48
Plesk Email Security is issuing me a warning: Email protection is not running! The following Plesk components are required for extension to function: Dovecot. Please install missing components and reinstall extension to re-enable protection.

If we look at the Plesk Update and check the components, you will see that Dovecot is not checked but trying to install it doesn't work.

What is required here in order to get this error message removed?
