Issue Dumping the databases directly to the FTP storage

Hello,

we have a server that is running Plesk 12.0 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
There is limited storage space on C:\ partition of a server, so we are looking for a ways to create backup directly to a remote storage.

We have tried creating symlinks of Plesk\Backup and Plesk\PrivateTemp folders to network storage, but backup logs return errors.

Is it possible to change a path of database backup so that it is dumping or storing directly to network drive?

As you can see, you are able to define your own definitions at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\PLESK\\PSA Config\\Config

Pls. note, that symlinks will not work here, as only hardcoded links will work as expected.​

When we set the network drive path to registry variable
The backup is not being created at all
We do get this error in the logs
