• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved E-Mail Setting "What to do with mail for non existent users" not available

New Pleskian
Hello Plesk Users,

i have a crazy problem.

We have multiple Plesk servers. For server a. As an admin, I see the setting for a domain email setting as normal. If I look at our new Plesk server (b. and as an admin!), the menu item "What to do with mail for non existent users" is missing. We use the Service-Provider View on both servers! Any ideas why this may be? Is that a mistake?

Server a. information:
Betriebssystem: Debian 10.9
Produkt: Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.36

Server b. information:
Betriebssystem: Debian 10.10
Produkt: Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.36

You may have disabled those controls.

Please compare the following setting on both of your servers:
Tools & Settings => Interface Management (under "Plesk Appearance") => Interface Controls Visibility

You probably ticked the checkbox "Hide controls for rejection messages for non-existent mail addresses" on your 2nd server.
