  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hi,

I have found my clients refusing to want to pay me for excess bandwidth simply because i cannot give them detailed usage stats per email user.

Would it be at all possible to go one level deeper in the current traffic report for a domain, and get a detailed report per email user eg :

someone@domain.com -- sent (50emails)[5Mb] -- recieved -- (254emails)[14Mb] .

An possibly a day by day monthly graaf on this.

Thanks

Hello croosie,

Thank you for the report.
This feature is scheduled for the future versions.
Now I can say that not all mail servers provide API at that level, thus Plesk will not be able to show the required statistics for such mail servers.

Great,

Although are you saying that the plesk report depens on the mail server installed.
For example i have only the standard MailEnable that comes with plesk. Would i have to purchase ME enterprise to get this feature for example ? 'cos that would be a shame as i would then not have to wait for the NEW release of pleask as ME enterprise already has this feature but its so expensive....when all i need is this one little thing not all the bulk of ME enterprise.

Thanks

Kirwin

As far as I remember MailEnable Std and Ent have the same API and this API does not allow to obtain such information such as mailbox traffic. However in some cases Plesk can obtain required information from log files.
I'm not ready to provide detailed explanations now. Please wait when that will be implemented.
