• The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Emails will get to server but not domain...

DaleH

New Pleskian
Hello,

I'm using Plesk 9.2.3 and I've been having a problem since I first set it up and don't know how to solve it, so I'm hoping that someone here could help me. I must warn you that I'm a complete newbie with Plesk, so any solution you suggest, I'd like it in the simplest terms possible please. :)

Right, basically I have a website going through Plesk (which we'll call km123.server.com) and it's accessible by going to http://km123.server.com and also it's proper domain name (which we'll call http://www.domain.com) ... and if an email is sent to dale@km123.server.com it goes through fine and I can receive it, yet if the email is sent to dale@domain.com then it returns with a Delivery Status Notification email saying stuff like
[mail.domain.com. (10): Connection refused]

Any ideas how I can make it so I can send emails perfectly to @domain.com addresses.

I hope you understand what I mean.

Thank you!
