  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I got this error after upgrading Psa8.1.1 to Psa8.2.0:

mysqld (pid 22908) is running...
Trying to establish test connection... ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

ERROR while trying to establish test connection

I read something about a "#" in the admin password which i have but i can't login to Plesk anymore to change the password.

Anyone got a solution?

Thanks in advance

at bare minimum this part will tell you

mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow`

if it cant login check to see if its the right password in the shadow file

Yeps can login without any troubles, but are not allowed to change the admin pass.

I installed phpmyadmin manualy and could still login with the admin password from Plesk, i changed the pass (without #) started the upgrade again and it works!

Thanks
