  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Errors when trying to Publish

Hey Guys,

Our clients are getting several errors when trying to publish their sites via the Web Site Builder (linux 3)

When the client tries to publish, it says "The site 'blahblahblah.com' has been published with errors. Cannot update modules data."

We can't figure out why they are getting these errors. Below are some Other errors we have seen in the Logs of the Web Site Builder.

Some of these errors say the website was NOT published, but that is not true. We go to check and the website is published with the info added
even though it says it is NOT published in the Web Site Builder.

Here are some other errors noted from our WebSiteBuilder Logs:

1) Invalid response. Params connection: host - 'blahblahblah.com', port - '80', location - '/include/SB/Modules/Transport/Server.php'

2) Cannot copy the site files to the specified site location. It is possible that you do not have enough permissions for writing or there is
not enough free space on the server.

3) Can't remove file 'httpdocs/attachments/Image/Stuff/laughinghorse.jpg' into FTP target
(httpdocs/attachments/Image/Stuff/laughinghorse.jpg: No such file or directory)
(publication DSN is 'FTP:username@[***]:eek:ur_server.com::/httpdocs', current site title is blahblahblah.com' , site owner is 'username')
It is possible that there are no enough permissions for writing or there is not enough free space on the server.

4) File "SB/Views/Admin.php.php" was not found.

5) The site 'blahblahblah.com' was not published.

6) The site 'blahblahblah.com' has been published with errors. Cannot update modules data.

Any ideas on what is happening here? It's decieving to our clients, as they see these errors when trying to publish, when their actual
website is published with no problems.

We never had problems with the older WebSiteBuilder.

Thanks for any help you have!

I have sent the patch for 3.0.2 version for you which includes a lot of fixes for this version. So try to apply it and check publication one more time.
Also, make sure that all publication settings are specified correctly and that publication host observes all necessary requirements for publication. For more information you can check following article:

http://kb.swsoft.com/en/1812

I am also having problem with publishing.

Where can I get the patch for 3.0.2 version?
Can you pls send it to me as well? Thanks.

I have sent you the patch. Please check it. More appropriate way is to upgrade to v.4 which includes these (and several other) fixes, improvements and some new features.

I'm having the same problem. Would you be able to send me the patch as well?
