  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Fail2ban error

Inma

Regular Pleskian
Hello

(where domain.com is the customer's domain and xx.xx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the blocked customer's ip address.)

I have found that an ip has been blocked. Then it unblocks itself and in logs I see this

2023-09-12 10:40:25,068 fail2ban.filter [15552]: ERROR No group found in 'webmail.dominio.com:xx.xx.xxx.xxx - - [] "GET /?_task=mail&_mbox=INBOX&_uid=4287&_part=2&_action=get&_extwin=1&_framed=1&_mimewarning=1&_embed=1 HTTP/1.0" 200 204010 "Website Domain Names, Online Stores & Hosting" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/116.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"
' using '<_sre.SRE_Pattern object at 0x564e2cae97f0>'

what's the reason? i have never seen this error in fail2ban jails.
in google there is only one helpful but not helpful entry that says something about the fail2ban-regex

but in my case the content of fail2ban-regex is nothing like the content of that help
with the one in that help
