  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Failed domain creation

New Pleskian
Hi there,

When I go into Plesk 7.5.3 for Microsoft Windows, I get this error when I try to add a domain to the server:

"Failed domain creation: Unable to update domain data: Unable to create dumps directory: Run-Time error: Execute websrvmng --add-domain "--domain-name=domainname.com" failed: COM Error 80004003 (Invalid pointer) at setIIsIsolationMode(false)."

Could somebody please tell me whats going on and how to fix it? Thanks..

Check IIS console if there is a site with error
1)
"The system can not find the file specified"
where there is a red sign near by.If there is delete t and try again.
2) Check if there are records with the domain.com name in the mailenable console, IIS, plesk backup directory and in your named.conf file.If there is delete.
3)If you are still unable to add same domain, try adding one other domain and then renaming it from preferences.
