  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

FastCGI errors ?

KWB15

New Pleskian
I needed to upgrade to php 5.3.10 so that I could install the lastest Joomla version. I did this by using FastCGI application and Atomic 5.4.

Since then I've had numerous errors that I confess are beyond my technical ability to understand or fix. I lease a dedicated server and here's my latest problem and the server support reply. Any help would be appreciated.

Problem..
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, _____________ and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Their reply..
We restarted the web server, as we saw the following error in the error_logs indicating that FastCGI handler was stuck:
[Thu Aug 20 15:01:40 2015] [warn] [client xx.xxx.xxx.xxx] mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 45 seconds
[Thu Aug 20 15:01:40 2015] [error] [client xx.xxx.xxx.xxx] Premature end of script headers: index.php

If the issue persists, the following steps must be taken to address the
issue: http://kb.odin.com/it/121251

In addition, we noticed that the "auditd" process is consuming unusually large amount of memory. As the server is still low on memory we strongly recommend that you have your Server Administrator inspect and optimize the auditd on your server:

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
2236 root 12 -3 1548m 841m 332 S 1 23.7 1134:10 auditd
30063 apache 15 0 62960 33m 5428 S 0 0.9 0:09.66 httpd
30101 apache 15 0 62136 32m 4888 S 0 0.9 0:09.91 httpd
30496 apache 17 0 61616 31m 4804 S 23 0.9 0:01.14 httpd
30058 apache 15 0 61040 30m 4488 S 0 0.9 0:08.51 httpd
30057 apache 15 0 60864 30m 4652 S 0 0.9 0:08.40 httpd

Again, Any help would be appreciated.
