• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Feature proposal: preserve .html extension

as explained in http://kb.odin.com/en/1549 , SB will use .php extension as soon as any module is used. This causes all the already published .html files to be renamed .php, which is not very SEO friendly (all ranking gone, pages are considered new, all links to pages must be changed)

I can live with .php extension for pages using modules but please preserve the extension of the unchanged files.

Actually, this situation already corrected in 4.2.3 version. Please check this article for more info: http://kb.odin.com/en/5466.

[*] Pages - Improvement in the site publishing process. Now, when a dynamic site is turned into a static one (the corresponding modules are removed), the site pages acquire .html extensions, making it possible to publish the site to servers with no PHP support.

I can suggest you to consider upgrading if you still have older than 4.2.3 version.

Thks! How can I be automatically informed about SB new releases? I got suchnotices by email for Virtuozzo but never for SB.
I will update at next maintenance slot.
