  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Filtering Auto-Reply emails with the 'keystr' variable

Rolf

New Pleskian
I thought there has been options for the email Auto-Reply feature in previous versions of Plesk that would limit an automatic reply to be sent only if certain rules applied, such as if the sender's email address was matched or a specific string ocured in the subject or message of the initiating email. Plesk 11.5 does currently not have such options in the front end.

But, in the mysql table 'mail_resp' there are two variables ('keystr' and 'key_where') that possibly would allow to advise the responder to only auto-reply when a string was found either in the subject or message.

Unfortunally, in my tests this did not work. Is anyone able to confirm that this mechanism works or is broken?

Thanks a lot in advance,

-Rolf
