  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Firewall options in 7.0.x vs 7.5.x

Dr Zoidberg

New Pleskian
Couldn't find this in the change list and was wondering:

Does the newer Plesk 7.5.1 include the superior Firewall options that are available in the *nix version?

In the latter I can select ports one by one and configure. In the Windows version there are only three default options (off, on and panic).

I rather like the simplicity and flexibility of the *nix version and if this has been caught up in the new Windows version it would save me some bother now and in the future.

TIA.
