  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Flask server location

dkalev

New Pleskian
Hi,

We have multiple Node.js apps configured as separate subdomains on a Plesk server. We would like to add a local Flask server that is used only to run some Python scripts and will communicate with one of the Node.js apps. As each Node.js app is located in a designated to its subdomain directory (for example /var/www/domain/subdomain), what would be a good location for the Flask app? And should we configure permissions in a specific way if the apps are to access shared folders / files?

Thanks
