  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

FTP Timeout

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I sometimes upload larger files to my server, say 1GB +.

It gets to the end (the file is uploaded) and it prompts me to upload again with an overwrite screen.

I want to extend the session times and followed this document: http://kb.odin.com/173

I still have the problem, these are the times I used. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work?

AllowOverwrite on
TimeoutNoTransfer 900
TimeoutStalled 600
TimeoutIdle 1200

Is there are any proftpd activity in system logs (/var/log/messages, /var/log/syslog)?
Doez directivies placed inside <Global></Global> section?
Not sure , but try to add in same section AllowStoreRestart on and AllowRetrieveRestart on.

If it not helps need to execute proftpd in standalone mode with debug and examine output.
