  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello all,

Can someone help me with the following questions?

1.
in the Plesk control panel, there is an ODBC tab for creating access database and sql server database. There is also a database tab for creating mysql and MS SQL. What are the differences between SQL server and MS SQL ? doesn't MS SQL come with plesk?

2. Antivirus web dr, if I already had Norton anti-virus on my server, do I need to get this web dr anti-virus. Are they confict to each other?
