  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

[Help] Problem file permission Ubuntu-PHP uploads.

When uploading files with PHP normally (on all my other boxes and previous owned servers) the files where saved with the same permissions as the owner of the domain.

However I switched to Ubuntu 8.04 the other day, they system is much faster with the same resources as Fedora or CentOS.

Now I have this one issue I can't seem to solve.

When uploading files with the PHP-script using the normal fwrite() the files are saves as user www-data..
This would not be a big issues, however when I try to remove or edit them with one other PHP-script I get a permission deny error.

This is an out of the box installation from my hosting provider. But because the same PHP-script works fine on FC and CentOS I assume it must be some Plesk/Apache setting.

Any help or advice would be welcome.
