  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Horde 5.0.4 and Attachment Enconding Problem

Andrew_Pa

Regular Pleskian
Hello to everyone.

I have a problem after the upgrade to the latest version for Plesk.

With the this upgrade the horde went to version 5.0.4

Now every email has an attachment with UTF8 characters, I see in the attachments symbols.

If I forward the email to gmail, hotmail etc or downloaded and open it, everything appears fine.

I think it's a bug because in the old version I didn't see any problem like that.

I also went to Preferences > Mail > Viewing and I configured in "Additional headers to display when viewing:" the follow : " Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" " and in the encoding UTF8 but nothing happened....

So now what we can do to solve it?

Should we need to configure something? Can we upgrade Horde to the latest version?

Thank you very much!

We have old KB article related to this issue - http://kb.parallels.com/en/112951
But AFAIK this issue has been completely fixed in 11.5. Most probably it is bug from horde side... Can someone confirm this problem too?
