• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hey all,

Just wondering where and how to add a new tld. We are looking to use distribute.IT and the tld we want to register is not in the system.

Many thanks in advance and apologise if this is a real basic question.

On Home page of Customer & Business Manager just click to Add for Domain Registrars and select distribute.IT registrar there for configuration. Then go to All settings -> Supported TLDs and add necessary TLD there.

Igor thank you for reply. I have been told that distribute.it no longer exist so much and they have been taken over by tpp. Does plesk still work with this company?

Yes, distribute.it is supported and you should see it for selection when you go to Add new registrar.

Hi Igor, sorry let me rephrase my question. Distribute.IT dont exist anymore and was taken over by someone. The company is now TPP who are handling registrations. Is Plesk compatible with TPP or do we need some form of customization?

If you already have reseller account in Distribute.IT and they support old API specification (which worked before acquisition by NetRegistry) then you can use CBM plug-in "Distribute.IT".
