  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question How can switch the global vendor php version?

dbb

New Pleskian
Hi!

How can switch in the plesk 12.5 admin panel the global php version from the 5.4.16 (by OS vendor Apache-Modul) to a higher Version? A php version switch for the domain and subdomain is no problem, but in ssh with php -v, it always stay at the 5.4.16 version.

Thanks!

# rpm -qf /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/php
plesk-core-12.5.30-cos6.build1205150826.19.i686

As you can see, admin's php is a part of plesk-core package. It is special patched by Plesk php version and you can't change it.
