  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question How do I move a website/subscription from one IP to another

Hi
We have been facing some issues regarding hosting websites with and without SSL/TLS support and have not really come to a conclusion on how to prevent subscriptions that do not have a certificate from accessing the server using SSL. This only gave us the default server page with the plesk internal certificate on it.

However we have now thought of a new plan, where we would simply add another IP to the server and then use the firewall on our network to allow only HTTP on one IP-address and both HTTP and HTTPS on the other IP-address.

However we cannot find out how to move a subscription to a new IP-address in Plesk. How is that done without deleting everything and start over?

In the subscription: Click "Web Hosting Access". There you should see two drop down boxes for IPv4 and IPv6 where you can select the IP that the domain should run on.
