How do i restore domain

Hi

It's simple question but i am facing some typical issue. Your quick help will be appreciated.

In server i am taking backup in .psa format through plesk backup method. While taking backup plesk backup shows me that
taking backup with all email,database and including httpdocs folder, when i restore any single domain i am not getting any
data on httpdocs folder.

I am doing backup and restoration through start -programs - Plesk - Plesk backup and start - programs - Plesk - Plesk restore
Is there any other mthod for taking backup and restoring backup of domains,clients in plesk windows.

Hi Team,

Surprise to see no one is using or checking plesk forums.

I got solution from docs itself. Why i am not getting domain restored with content because domain already physically hosted on server.
Due to this when you try to restore domain that will not distrub anything on httpdocs folder. I deleted the domain physically and restored
from backup file then domain restored successfully with new content. My problem got solved now..let's hope some one may get help
by seeing this update.

When physical hosting content is restored from backup to an existing domain, the content will be restored only if the domain has no hosting configured. If you want to restore physical hosting content to an existing domain, delete hosting from the domain before restoring backed-up hosting.
