  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

How does security level change affect current clients?

ClaudioW

New Pleskian
Hi there.

Simple question.
If i change the security level to a more secure one (enforcing even more complex passwords), how will this affect current cients?
Passwords that doesnt match security level will be automaticly created? or will pleask ask for a password change on next loggin?
Does this setting affects email passwords or just plesk?

If you go to Tools & Settings>Security Policy you see:

When users set a new password in the system (create a new one or change the existing one), they are required to adjust the password according to the minimum strength requirements specified on this page.

So, old passwors remains the same.
