• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question How to activate the new dashboard?

Bitpalast

Plesk addicted!
Plesk Guru
Server operating system version
Alma 8 and 9
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.61 #5 and 18.0.62
I've been reading allusions to a new dashboard page, but so far, including 18.0.62, the dashboard page looks still the same as it always did. How to activate the new dashboard?

It's a beta feature. You have to enable it in the panel.ini:
Code:
[navigation]
newHomeView.enabled = true

Ensure there is only 1 [navigation] section, otherwise it won't work.

Does it ship active by default with new installs? My two newest servers come with it (I assume it's the rearrangable blocks one, I actually like it)

It took me a while to see the new dashboard. Only now since 18.0.64 where it automatically became the default I am seeing it for the first time. And I must say: Very well done! Keyword: "Endowment effect", we had a mail conversation on that one ... It's a really much more useful page now with all the important stuff at a single sight. Big "Like".

I still miss the "Disk space" graph on the new dashboard. Hopefully, that gets added in the future.
