  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to delete domain after failed migration?

philippe henneau

Basic Pleskian
We did migrate from a plesk 9 node to a plesk 10.4 node, for some reason the migration failed for a few domain (was related to quota issue)

When attempting a new migration, plesk returns error related to 'existing FTP username'. We checked passwd, indeed: the user had been created after the 1st migration, so did the files exist under /var/www/vhosts (all files with root as owner). The domains do NOT appear in the CP domain list

How can we clean up the mess and erase all files and users related to a domain, is there a PLESK command or should we just update passwd and rm the /var/www/vhost/domain directory?

Regards

Philippe
