  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue How to disable firewall with no CLI?

Cbeam

New Pleskian
Hello, I think I might have inadvertently got all port block by fail2ban after doing making some changes with SSHD config. I am in Rescue Mode now but it have no CLI ability. How do I disable fail2ban from Plesk or remove any firewall for that matter without CLI? Thanks in advance.

It seems like it would be a lot easier just to use a VPN, temporarily and whitelist your IP....

If you're in rescue mode, you should have CLI access. From there, just use the firewall CLI to make the changes necessary

Have you access to Tools&Settings > Services Management? You can disable fail2ban there.
