  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to export Backup manually?

Michael Wa.

Basic Pleskian
Hi there,

During weekends my auto-backups always fail while uploading to the ftp-backup server.

The dump have been made successfully but can not be imported to FTP due to errors.
The dump "backup_info_1108270334.xml" have been leaved at repository "/var/lib/psa/dumps". Please export it manually

Is there any easy stress-less way to export a failed backup? Or a special Plesk Syntax I could use to re-upload?
Or do I have to tar the appropriate folder and upload it with ftp manually?

I think about a script which could be started 1h after the failed upload automatically, as it's really annoying to handle those backups twice a week.

many thanks
