  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved How to find additional packages in mariadb like mariadb-bench

Vinod Vyas

New Pleskian
Hi

I am planning to upgrade MariaDB from 5.5 to 10.3 (Plesk on CentOS)

This link is very helpful and am planning to follow the steps.

One of the step is to Remove additional packages like mariadb-bench. My question is: How to find additional packages in MariaDB?

Thanks

Thanks IgorG,

Here is the output:

mariadb-5.5.65-1.el7.x86_64
mariadb-server-5.5.65-1.el7.x86_64
plesk-libmariadbclient-3.1-3.1.8-1centos.7.200603.1842.x86_64
plesk-libmariadbclient-3.0-3.0.9-1centos.7.200430.1921.x86_64
mariadb-libs-5.5.65-1.el7.x86_64

I do not see any additional package here. But thought of confirming it again here. Please advice.

I suppose that you can skip this step because additional packages like mariadb-bench are not installed. But it is strange that you have two plesk-libmariadbclient packages installed. Move on step by step and I hope that nothing unexpected happens.
