• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to make alias "domain.tld > subdomain.anotherdomain.tld"?

How to make alias "domain.tld > subdomain.anotherdomain.tld"?

PLEASE, reply you who make this really work.

I know, that there should be two ways, but they do not work:
1) In Plesk there is no possibility, because you cannot work with subdomains as with domains, you cannot select subdomain and set aliases. Better said, I do not see that option.

2) Second, ServerAlias in vhost.conf files of subdomains are ignored, so this do not work too.

cPanel has this, and I am on the crossroad, where I choose between Plesk and cPanel. I have 28 domains on one server and have to decide, which panel to buy. I used Plesk for years, but pay for help is bad for me, and forum is just a forum, not helpdesk...

I see one solution, but it is workaround...
Creating subdomain not as a subdomain, but as a domain. For example, I have to create new domain called "subdomain.anotherdomain.tld". Then I have possibility to add some aliases to subdomain.anotherdomain.tld, and that works.
