  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to 're-inject' emails into a new IMAP Mail server

kadoudal

Regular Pleskian
I move my company server to a new server using now Plesk 9.5
the switch is now over , running fine .. all DBs, and email accounts created ...BUT
people modified their mail client app and as they connected to the new mail server , obviously they lost all past emails after sync...

we have all these emails on the previous server ( Linux , qmail I guess...see folders list in attachment)
how should I proceed to re-inject their past emails into our new email server managed by Plesk ?

thanks for your suggestion

Plesk uses the maildir structure which is a standard that a lot of other mail servers uses. So you should be able to just copy the Maildir folder from your old system over to the new one. Rewrite the cur, new, and tmp folders for each user and it should work fine.
