• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to renew domain names?

apardo

New Pleskian
Hi,

I'm writing you because I have a question I can't find an answer. We've developed a plugin for a new domain provider. We've tested all the cases and it works, but we can't test the domain renewal.

The problem is that we don't find the way to renew the domain, not from the user panel nor from the admin panels (/admin and /plesk-billing).

Reading the user documentation it says that from the "account" tab it should be possible to do that, but in that tab we don't have any domain, only subscriptions.

Greetings and thank you

If your Control Panel is integrated with a billing system, then the following operations on domains might be available from the Panel:
......
Configure automatic renewal of the domain account at the domain name registration company.

To configure automatic renewal of the domain name:

Go to the Account tab.
Locate the domain name for which you want to change settings, and click the link Show Domain Info next to it.
Click Automatic Domain Renewal.
To allow auto renewal of the domain registration, select the Turn on auto renewal checkbox and click OK.
