  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How users can change permission for "/httpdocs/aspnet_client"

Andrei C

Regular Pleskian
Dear Support,

Could you describe, how users can change permission for folder "/httpdocs/aspnet_client", for default have read permission "Users group", "IUSR_<user>", "IWPD_<user>"?
Many users cannot use button "Website copying", because directory "/httpdocs/aspnet_client" have read-only access.

Additionally. This folder will be created with other versions of .NET too. Plesk doesn't create this folder. It looks like that you have installed .NET by yourself or upgraded it to .NET 4.5. .NET creates this folder during installation process and of course does not grant corresponding permissions to Plesk FTP users.

If it is Plesk 11.5 I can recommend you fix it with

%plesk_cli%\repair.exe --repair-all-webspaces-security

It should correct permissions of FTP user for this folder.

also check if psasrv, psaadm and psacln are having correct permissions on required folder.

Maybe not property read problem with folder "aspnet_client", when creating subscription or adding new domain.

Thanks, I try your solution, and check if your solution is working.
