• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

httpdmng very slow when run for "all sites"

httpdmng takes over 10 minutes to run on a new and fairly idle server.

I know it does some very complicated tasks and outputs a tremendous number of files -- perhaps that could somehow be simplified as well. It has gotten very difficult to trace any configuration problems with so many "include" files.

actually "service httpd restart" has always been pretty fast for me. But I added the graceful restart anyway :)

Hello,

Enable mod_status to check what site/sites generate load:

  1. To enable status reports only for users from the 192.168.5.87 IP add this code to your httpd.conf configuration file:

    ExtendedStatus on
    <Location /server-status>
    SetHandler server-status
    Order deny,allow
    Deny from all
    Allow from 192.168.5.87
    </Location>

  2. Reload Apache

    # /etc/init.d/apache restart

  3. You can now access server statistics by using a Web browser to access the pagehttp://your.server.name/server-status
