Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
Has anyone done this? I can't believe that Plesk allowed me to update to a product that I didn't own WITHOUT WARNING ME FIRST. The update button should not cause catastrophic failure of a server.
There is no way to downgrade Parallels Plesk Panel, I'm afraid. The only solution is to restore Plesk 8.6 installation to a new server from a backup, if the later exists.
I am in the same dead-end, I just can't understand how Plesk didn't warn about this. This is just a customer server and now I don't know what to do... I had a license key for 8.6.0 with 10 domains and now I get this nice warning:
Error: The license key is invalid. In order to use the Parallels Plesk Panel, please obtain and install a new functioning license key.
You are trying to use license key created for other version of Parallels Plesk Panel. Contact Parallels sales representatives to get the correct license key.
Your license key has expired. To continue using your Parallels Plesk Panel you must purchase a non-expiring commercial license key.
The amount of currently used resources overrides the limits defined by your license.
The number of web sites hosted on the server exceeds the limits defined by your license. You have 2 sites hosted; your license allows hosting only 1 sites.
The number of served e-mail accounts exceeds the limits defined by your license. You have 5 e-mail accounts currently served; your license allows serving only 1 e-mail accounts.
I need to get a working key like the one that was working in 8.6.0 it's not a solution to reinstall your server...
