  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I want more control over domains/hosting/resellers

roadrash

Basic Pleskian
I have migrated recently from 9.5.4 (rockstable !) to 11.5.3 (sorry, still buggy).
Have been using Plesk since Version 1.3

It is a nice interface, but it costs me, as a hosting provider, very much time to learn to use it again.

I miss many features, or they are hard to find.

Biggest problem is that I accidentally deleted client accounts.
How can that happen?
Well:
I select some of his domains to delete. Then click the red cross.
Plesk does not show much, just greys out a very little bit for a while (Please bring back some more feedback).

Then it seems I have accidentally clicked the WRONG red cross: not the one of the subscriptions, but the one at the top of the page.
It would not have been such a big deal, if I only had been asked for a confirmation. In Plesk 9.5 there always was this confirmation.
Please bring it back for fools like me.

agreed.

also, having some features back that were present in 9.5.4 would be nice. i know many of those features were removed as they are suposed to work through subscriptions now, but also many stuff was left out for whatever reason

example:
i want to select 15 mailboxes and modify their antispam settings at once. this is no longer possible through panel and has to be done through SSH :(

Hi, are you saying you didn't get confirmation request like the one below?
Parallels Plesk Panel 11.5.30.png
I don't think we have any way to bypass the pop-up confirmation

I miss many features, or they are hard to find.
Since you have just switched and everything is fresh for you, could you list things you are missing now or cannot find?

I guess I did get this popup.
But I already removed some domains before, so got a little automated.
Then finally I must have clicked the wrong red-cross and ignored the popup and the slightly different text.
In 9.5 there was not a pop-up, but an undenyable new screen with a listing of everything that would be deleted.

Now I have been warned and I will take more care.
However, my company develops interfaces for websystems. And we NEVER use this kind of popups anymore. Just because of the above written.
People do not read the popup anymore after having seen it one time. It happens all the time...
